JCI Opened Tuesday, Weakened 0.52 Percent To 4,552.12
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index opened lower on Tuesday, April 21 trading. JCI fell 0.52 percent or 23.79 points to 4,552.12.
Opening the trade, it was recorded that 22 stocks rose, 77 stocks fell, and 37 stocks were stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 61.88 million shares and transacted for IDR 17.09 billion.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst M. Nafan Aji Gustama assessed that the stock index today will move down again. "There is further weakness in the JCI movement, so that it has the opportunity to go to the nearest support area," he said.
Based on technical analysis, Nafan predicts the first and second support areas for the JCI to be at the level of 4,443 and 4,318. Meanwhile, the first and second resistance areas are at the level of 4,747 and 4,975.
As for a number of shares that Nafan recommended for consideration by investors, including PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), Japfa Comfeed Indonesia (JPFA), PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (LSIP), PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) and PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WTON).
This morning, stocks that were among the top gainers, including PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) which rose 12.68 percent to Rp80, PT Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (KOBX) which rose 8.05 percent to Rp94, and PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (CENT) which strengthened 5.36 percent to Rp59.
Meanwhile, stocks that were among the top losers included PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC) which fell 6.85 percent to Rp408, PT Kresna Graha Investama Tbk (KREN) which fell 6.19 percent to Rp182, and PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (BNGA) which weakened 5.59 percent to Rp675.
