Opening The Inabuyer Expo 2025, Minister Of MSMEs: This Is The Government's Effort To Dam Foreign Products Entering The Republic Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2025 activity will officially be held starting today, July 23, 2025. This is the third Inabuyer event after it was previously successfully held on May 15-17, 2024.

It is known that the Ministry of Business, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) together with the Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers and Tenants Association (Hippindo) again held the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2025 exhibition on 23-25 July.

The exhibition provides the opportunity for MSMEs to expand their market and raise the class of their products.

Minister of Micro, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman said the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2025 activity was one of the government's efforts to secure and maintain the swift flow of goods coming in from outside.

The Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2025 aims to create opportunities for cooperation between local producers and buyers from the Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Government (B2G) sectors.

"To secure and maintain the swift flow of goods entering from outside is one form of this Inabayer event," said Maman at the opening of the 2025 Inabuyer B2B2G Expo at the Smesco Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 23.

Maman explained that this activity was also a form of implementation of Government Regulation (PP) Number 7 of 2021.

The regulation requires ministries/agencies, central governments and district/city governments to procure 40 percent with domestic products.

Therefore, the regulation can provide the maximum protection, guidance and open space to MSMEs to be able to participate and become masters or kings on their own land.

In 2024, this activity managed to record transactions of IDR 1.58 trillion, an increase of 57 percent compared to the previous year, which was IDR 1.003 trillion.

Meanwhile, for this year, the activity was attended by 107 buyers and suppliers.

Maman also targets transactions this year to reach IDR 3 trillion.

"This means that Rp3 trillion can be our target. The most important thing for me is that yesterday's achievement was a benchmark and of course this year it must be more than last year, because it is one of the measures or indicators for all of us," he said.

Various interesting agendas will be present at the event, including business matching, exhibitions of local superior products and MSMEs, panel discussions, talk shows as well as signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and cooperation contracts between MSMEs and various parties.

In addition, the Inabuyer Award will also be given to entrepreneurs, ministries/agencies, BUMN and the private sector who show significant innovation and contribution in supporting domestic products.
