Ha Jung Woo Apologizes For Inappropriate Response To Fans
JAKARTA - Actor Ha Jung Woo apologized after giving inappropriate responses to fans on social media. The interaction, which started from joking, made the public uncomfortable.
The controversy began when a fan named Choi asked Ha Jung Woo to give his nickname via social media.
Ha Jung Woo responded with the word 'Choeeumje' a Korean term for aphrodisic which refers to a single term for sexual desire. The comment written by the actor was deleted after the words received a negative response.
A few hours later, the Walkhouse Company as Ha Jung Woo's agency released an apology to the public.
"We sincerely apologize to individuals who feel uncomfortable with our artist's attitude on social media," said Walkhouse Company, according to JoongAng Daily.

"The actor has contacted his fans directly and apologized and spoke to them," he said.
The agency also promised they would be careful in monitoring interactions as well as with the actor in his behavior on social media.
"We promise to be more careful and consider future communication with fans," concluded the agency.
On the other hand, Ha Jung Woo is confirmed to star in the drama How to Become a Building Owner with Lim Soo Jung, Kim Jun Han, Krystal, and Shim Eun Kyung.
