British Legend Paul Gascoigne Has Returned Home And Is In Good Condition After Being Treated In The ER

JAKARTA - British legend Paul Gascoigne returned home on Monday, July 21, 2025, local time.

Gascoigne representative Juli Saward said the legend was in good condition after being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) over the weekend.

"Paul went to the ER on Friday, July 18, 2025, after battling the throat problem he had suffered for some time."

"He has returned home and is in good condition," saidten Saward of The MNT's talent agency to the Associated Press via email, reported by ESPN.

The British newspaper, The Sun, reported that 58-year-old Gascoigne was found half conscious at home by a friend on Friday in Poole, southern England, and was initially being treated in the ICU.

Meanwhile, Gascoigne helped bring England to the 1990 and Euro 1996 World Cup semifinals. He is widely considered one of the most talented players of his generation.

However, he has been battling alcohol addiction for decades and has had other health problems in recent years.
