Spotify Launches Latest Audiobook Packages In More Countries

JAKARTA Spotify is expanding its feature offerings by launching the latest audiobook package. That way, there are more countries that can access the audio-based story service.

This feature was first tested in Ireland and Canada and the results showed a positive response. Now, a number of selected countries will get two new subscription accesses, including Audiobooks+ Individual and Audiobooks+ package members.

Some countries that have access to this package are England, Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. This package is still not available in Indonesia and other Asian countries.

The Audiobooks+ package is an add-on presented to Individual Premium subscribers as well as Family and Duo package managers. Users will get the opportunity to listen to additional audiobooks for 15 hours.

This is an outside access to basic packages. Meanwhile, Audiobooks+ for Package Members is presented for additional members in the Premium Family and Duo packages. They will also get additional 15 hours of access every month.

In addition, there is also a single-use 10-hour refill option. This service will help users who run out of hours before their monthly cycle is updated. This flexibility ensures a sustainable listening experience.

This new package is designed to provide more flexibility to listeners. By expanding audiobook features and services to more countries, Spotify hopes to help publishers and writers reach a wider audience.
