ASDP Adjie Case Suspect Becomes House Detainee, KPK Reveals Supervision
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) ensures that maximum supervision is still given to Adjie who is under house arrest.
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the businessman who is a suspect in alleged corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) will receive 24-hour supervision. Investigators and neighborhood heads will pay attention to their movements.
"Of course, surveillance will still be carried out. Supervision by investigators involves the head of the local environment, namely RT/RW," Budi said when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, July 22.
While on a separate occasion, Budi said Adjie was under house arrest due to his health condition. It is known that the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara was sent to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Jakarta on June 11.
"Suspect A is currently under house arrest because his health condition is not good," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, July 21.
Previously reported, the KPK named four suspects for alleged corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero).
They are former President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; former Director of Planning and Development, Harry MAC; and former Commercial and Service Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Muhammad Yusuf Hadi; and Adjie as the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

Ira, Harry, and Yusuf Hadi have now been tried at the Jakarta Corruption Court. They were charged with causing state financial losses of Rp. 1,253,431,651,169 or Rp. 1.25 trillion.
Prosecutors said there were a number of modes of corruption carried out by the three, such as changing the board of directors' decree. Thus, the implementation of business cooperation between PT ASDP and PT Jembatan Nusantara is easy to implement.
