PALEMBANG - Military Odmil (Odmil) I-05 Palembang demanded that the accused TNI member in the shooting case of three members of the Way Kanan Police, Lampung, Kopda Bazarsah be sentenced to death.
The claim was read out by the Military Prosecutor Lt. Col. CHK Darwin Butar-Butar in front of the panel of judges at the Palembang Military Court I-04, Monday, July 21.

"The Military Prosecutor asked the Military Court Panel of Judges I-04 to impose a basic sentence in the form of the death penalty on the defendant because he had been proven to have violated Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder," he said as quoted by ANTARA.
The three victims in that case were members of the Way Kanan Police who died in their duties, namely AKP (posthumous) Lusiyanto, Brigadier (posthumous) M. Ghalib Surya Ganta, and Bripka (posthumous) Petrus Apriyanto who were shot during a raid at the cockfighting gambling location in Karang Manik Village, Way Kanan, Lampung, which was managed by the defendant.
