Darwin Nörez's 14 Minutes Hattrick Brings Liverpool To Silence Stoke 5-0 In Closed Match

JAKARTA - Darwin N wayez performed brilliantly by scoring a hat-trick in just 14 minutes in the first half, when Liverpool crushed Stoke City with a landslide score of 5-0 in a closed friendly at the AXA Training Center, Sunday, July 20.

The Uruguayan striker immediately put the Reds 3-0 up just in the first 20 minutes of the game, showing his sharpness amid rumors of a move from Anfield this summer.

Two additional goals were scored by young Rio Ngumoha and last season's signing, Federico Chiesa, who contributed to the landslide victory. Liverpool's performance under coach Arne Slot looked convincing ahead of a pre-season tour into Asia.

Florian Wirtz, who recently joined Bayer Leverkusen in the club's record transfer, started in the first half with a number of big names such as Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Mohamed Salah.

In the second half, Liverpool replaced almost all of their players. Ibrahima Konate, Cody Gakpo, Kostas Tsimikas, and Ryan Gravenberch were also played, along with two other new players, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.

Main goalkeeper Alisson Becker did not appear in this match. The goalkeeper's position was filled by Giorgi Mamardashvili, who was later replaced by calmmin Precsi just before the 60th minute.

Meanwhile, ESPN sources said that Liverpool had yet to reach an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for Hugo Ekitike's transfer. Talks between the two clubs are still ongoing to bring in the young striker as additional options up front.

Another target, Alexander Isak, is also in the spotlight after being absent when Newcastle United lost 0-4 to Celtic. Coach Eddie Howe confirmed Isak's absence was related to speculation about his future, although he remains optimistic that the striker will stay at St. James Park in the midst of interest from Liverpool.

On Sunday evening, Liverpool announced a list of 29 players who were brought on a pre-season tour to Asia. However, Chiesa's name was not included in the squad, while Luis Dmenz participated after previously missing the match against Stoke. Liverpool had rejected an offer worth 67.5 million eeuro from Bayern Munich to bring Dmenz.
