PDIP DPP Chairman Doesn't Know About PSI Congress Invitation: No Confirmation

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Said Abdullah admitted that he did not know about the invitation to the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress which was held on Sunday, July 20, evening. He said he did not find any information and confirmation regarding the event.

"Wow, no comment, it's okay, I haven't received confirmation from anywhere. We were invited, didn't know, we didn't get confirmation," said Said Abdullah at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, July 21.

Said also admitted that he did not know anything that the only representatives of the PDIP were not present. Meanwhile, other political parties, especially those that support President Prabowo Subianto's government, attended the event.

"Wow, I don't know, I can't get confirmation from various things, there is no confirmation from the DPP either," said the chairman of the DPR Banggar.

As is known, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) held its congress for the first time this weekend, Saturday and Sunday 19-20 July.

The PSI Congress took place in Solo City, Central Java and invited all political parties (political parties) including the PDI-P.

Deputy Chairperson of the PSI DPP, Andy Budiman previously revealed that his party would invite all political parties including the PDI-P to attend the first congress.

"Yes, we invite all parties," said Andy Budiman on Tuesday, July 15.

At the closing ceremony of the PSI Congress which was held last night, President Prabowo Subianto appeared to be present at the Edutorium of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta (UMS), Solo, Central Java.

Also present were the general chairmen of political parties including Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, and other political parties.

During the congress, Kaesang Pangarep was appointed as the chairman of PSI as well as announced the change of the new PSI logo bearing the red head elephant.
