Zulhas Report To Prabowo: 80,081 Red And White Kopdes Formed, 108 Ready To Operate

The Coordinating Minister for Food and Food Affairs (Menko Pangan) as well as the Head of the Red and White Cooperatives Task Force reported to President Prabowo Subianto, as many as 80,081 Red and White Village Cooperatives (Kopdes) have been formed.

The man who is familiarly called Zulhas explained that out of this total, 108 units of the Red and White Kopdes are ready to operate starting today.

"Alhamdulillah, Mr. President, in less than two months, more than 80,081 white Red and White Kopdes/kelurahan have been formed legally. And 108 of them are ready to operate," he said when delivering the report on the inauguration of the Red and White Kopdes, quoted from the Ministry of Food's YouTube, Monday, July 21.

Zulhas said the existence of the Red Puruh Kopdes was President Prabowo Subianto's mandate regarding food self-sufficiency. At the same time to eradicate tengkulak to moneylenders.

"To cut the supply chain, tengkulak, empowerment of farmers, village economic actors with the principle of mutual cooperation," he said.

Furthermore, Zulhas also said that this program is for empowering farmers, fishermen, and village economy players in Indonesia by prioritizing the principles of mutual cooperation and kinship.

"The people's economy, which was repeatedly conveyed by the President (Prabowo)," he said.
