Anthusiasm Of AI Melejit, Coursera Notes 87 Thousand Indonesians Taking Courses Related To GenAI

JAKARTA - In the context of AI Appreciation Day, Coursera announced that students in Indonesia had registered more than 87,000 AI-related Generative courses throughout 2025.

Since the launch of ChatGPT less than three years ago, learners in Indonesia have also spent more than 107,000 hours studying AI's Generative skills on the Coursera platform equivalent to more than 12 years of relentless learning time.

Globally, Coursera has recorded more than 10 million AI's Generative course registrations, with an average of 12 new registrations every minute this year.

To answer the increasing demand, Coursera continues to expand its GenAI course catalog, which now includes more than 925 courses from various well-known institutions in the world.
