U-23 National Team Faces Malaysia Tonight, 1,620 Personnel Deployed To Guard GBK
JAKARTA - The Indonesian U-23 National Team (Timnas) will face Malaysia in the last match of Group A of the 2025 AFF U-23 Cup at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, tonight. Regarding security, 1,620 joint personnel will be deployed.
"Regarding the security of football tonight, we will deploy 1,620 personnel," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Monday, July 21.
The joint personnel consist of members of Polda Metro Jaya, TNI, Provincial Government (Pemprov) Jakarta, and Police Headquarters.
Thousands of joint personnel will be alerted at mapped points. They will ensure security outside the stadium.
Regarding the flow of traffic around the location, Ade stated that the Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) had prepared a traffic engineering scheme. However, the implementation is situational.
"The implementation of traffic control in the field, traffic engineering will be carried out situationally," he said.
Not to forget, Ade also appealed to people who want to watch the match live to obey the rules. For example, not carrying prohibited items.
