Ketum PA 212's Response To The Bodong 212 Mart Investment Case In Samarinda

JAKARTA - The 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA 212) emphasized that it had nothing to do with the alleged fraudulent investment involving 212 Mart. PA 212 did not know anything about the case handled by the Samarinda Police, East Kalimantan.

"KS (Sharia Cooperative) 212 is different from (PA) 212, so there is no connection at all, that's the first," said PA 212 Chairman Slamet Maarif to reporters, Thursday, May 6.

Slamet also said that the PA 212 and 212 Mart organizations were also different. From the information he received, the case of the 212 Martu scam investment was purely carried out by individuals.

"Then it turns out that KS 212 also denied that it was personal. The invalid investment activity had nothing to do with the central KS 212 as well so that's a central problem too," continued Slamet Maarif.

In addition, Slamet Maarif said there was no information about similar cases of fraudulent investment in other areas. This problem has only been discovered in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.

"We just heard about (the invalid investment case) in Samarinda. What I know is that KS has built 212 Marts that are standing everywhere," he said.

Previously, hundreds of residents reported 212 Mart to the Samarinda Police, East Kalimantan on suspicion of criminal investment fraud. This fraud is called the cooperation mode for the construction of the 212 Mart shopping center.
