DPR: All Virus Variants Must Be Quickly Anticipated By The Government
JAKARTA - Member of Commission IX DPR RI Kurniasih Mufidayati reminded the government to continue to anticipate the entry of all variants of the COVID-19 mutation virus into Indonesia.
"The pandemic situation is still not over. All vigilance against the development of the virus must be quickly anticipated by the Indonesian government," Mufida told VOI, Thursday, May 6.
The PKS politician appealed to the government to always remind all elements of society to adhere to health protocols. Especially in the implementation of takbiran, Eid prayers and gathering on Eid al-Fitr.
"Prokes and 3 M must be reminded continuously to the whole community," said Kurniasih Mufidayati.
It is known that the mutated corona virus from India was found in 2 incidents in Jakarta, precisely in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. Meanwhile, the mutated corona virus from South Africa that was found in Bali was 1 incident.
The mutated corona virus from the UK has been confirmed as many as 13 incidents to date.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin did not disclose the details of the mutation in question, namely variant B.1.1.7, B.1.617, or other mutations. He only emphasized that the 16 incidents were categorized as variants of concern or mutations that were considered by WHO.
