World Photographer Competing At Safari Park, IAPVC 2025 Echoes Global Conservation

BOGOR Bogor Safari Park has again become the center of national attention by hosting the Roadshow International Animal Photo and Video Competition (IAPVC) 2025 series. This location was chosen as the second point after Solo Safari, because of its strategic role as an animal conservation center as well as a favorite educational destination for the community.

Carrying the theme 'The Picture of Secret Nature', IAPVC 2025 invites people to dive into the hidden sides of wildlife life and nature through photos and videos.

This competition is the largest animal photography and videography event in Indonesia that has lasted for more than 34 years.

President Director of Taman Safari Indonesia, Aswin Sumampau, said that this event is in line with the Safari Park mission in animal education and conservation.

"This activity is in line with our commitment to animal conservation and conservation education to the community. We want to invite more people to participate in conservation campaigns, not only with concrete actions, but also through inspiring and meaningful visual works," said Aswin, at TSI Bogor, Saturday, July 19.

He said this roadshow is not just an introduction to competition, but also a forum for collaboration between the world of tourism, animal conservation, and visual creativity. Various activities were held, such as photo exhibitions, photography workshops with judges, to educational talk shows.

Especially at the Bogor Safari Park, visitors can also take part in the Roadshow Photo Competition, a special category that can only be followed directly at the location.

Meanwhile, the Acting Chief Marketing Officer of Taman Safari Indonesia, Alexander Zulkarnain, said that the interest of participants continues to increase every year.

Last year we managed to attract more than 8,000 participants. This year our target is more than 10,000. Photos came from various countries in Asia, Europe, to the Middle East. Many international photographers even came directly to Taman Safari Indonesia to participate in this competition, "he said.

Alexander emphasized that this event is not commercial, but part of Taman Safari's commitment to socializing conservation.

"This competition is not only for researchers or conservation actors, but also for the general public. This is an effort to ground conservation through cameras, both professional and from everyday gadgets," he added.

IAPVC 2025 opens six competition categories, namely:

* Indonesian Endemic, which focuses on endemic Indonesian * Wildlife Category, is open to national and international participants * Photo Enthusiast for 1018 years * Roadshow Category, specifically participants from a series of roadshows in Solo, Bogor, and Prigen* Social Media Photo Competition * Social Media Video Competition

This competition not only provides creative space, but also offers a total prize of hundreds of millions of rupiah. The main prize in the form of a unit of the Wuling New Air EV Lite electric car is a symbol of commitment to an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
