6 Foreigners Examined By Bogor Immigration, Allegedly Violating Immigration Rules

BOGOR Class I Immigration Office Non TPI Bogor examined six foreign nationals (WNA) suspected of committing immigration violations. This examination is part of the "Wirapada" Operation which was carried out on July 15, 2025 at the direction of the Directorate General of Immigration, in order to strengthen supervision of the existence and activities of foreigners in Indonesian territory.

Head of the Bogor Immigration Office, Ritus Ramadhana, emphasized that supervision of foreigners is not only a form of law enforcement, but also part of public services.

"We want to ensure that every foreigner in Indonesia obeys the applicable rules, in order to create an orderly, fair and sustainable ecosystem," said Ritus, Saturday, July 19.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Section, Danil Rachman, explained that the operation was carried out simultaneously in three areas of Bogor Regency, namely Tajurhalang, Cibungbulang, and Klapanunggal.

"A total of 31 personnel from various internal elements of Immigration were deployed to three target locations: Deparis 2 Housing, Puri Arraya Housing, and PT Indo Global Bangun Technology," he said.

Supervision is carried out openly by interview methods, direct data collection, and gathering information from the surrounding community. As a result, the team found nine foreigners from Nigeria, Ghana, and China.

Three people were not found to have committed a violation. However, six others are indicated to have committed or have the potential to commit immigration violations and are currently undergoing further investigation.

From the operation, Immigration also found that PT Indo Global Bangun Technology, a company that employs several foreigners, has been out of service for the past three months. These findings were obtained through direct interviews with the company's management.

"This operation is part of a sustainable strategy to maintain regional stability from potential disturbances caused by immigration violations," said Danil. He added that Bogor Immigration will continue to carry out open and closed supervision until the end of 2025.
