Czech MotoGP Qualification Results 2025: Break Brno's Record, Bagnaia Rebut Pole Position This Season
JAKARTA Francesco Bagnaia will start the Czech MotoGP race 2025 from the front position after he managed to make the best time in the qualifying session.
The two-time world champion completed this session with a record fastest time of 1 minute 52.303 seconds to lock up pole position above the Brno Circuit, Czech, on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
In addition to securing the first pole of the season, the above record made Marquez managed to break Brno's 2016 lap record held by Marc Marquez.
This is Bagnaia's first time in the 2025 season racing calendar starting the race from pole position. He will be followed by leader Marc Marquez in second place.
The Spaniard and six-time MotoGP world champion actually slipped on the final lap while chasing the fastest lap. However, that problem was disturbed by starting him in second place.
Marc Marquez looks favorite to win pole position. He only needed two laps for him to score 1 minute 52.522 seconds. However, his lap was surpassed by Bagnaia.

The competition between the two then continued with Marc Marquez doing his final flying lap. He sped up in Sector 1, 2, and 3, but instead fell at Turn 13 so that the pole failed.
Meanwhile, the third grid start will be occupied by Fabio Quartararo from Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP. This French racer was followed by Marco Bezzecchi and Joan Mir in fourth and fifth place.
After this there is a sprint race session at 20.00 WIB. The main Czech MotoGP race will take place on Sunday, July 20 at 19.00 WIB.
