Fire Victims In Tebet Shouted For Help Before Death
JAKARTA - A witness named Dewi Rahmawati said the fire victim on Jalan Kutilang, RW 02, Bukit Duri Village, South Jakarta had shouted for help before being found dead.
"Yes, I shouted 'smoke, smoke'. Then there was a small child shouting 'Mama, Mom, please help me. Mama, mom, uncle, uncle help me'," Dewi told reporters in Jakarta, Saturday.
Dewi said the fire incident occurred at around 06.00 WIB in the morning when she was drying clothes. At that time, he saw a puff of smoke coming from a rented house or boarding house not far from the location.
"This house is no longer visible because it is all smoke. The smoke is black," he explained.

It is said that the victims were affected by the fire in the rented house, namely three families (KK) and four children. This means that a family of two people died. The rented house or boarding house that caught fire had eight doors with the occupants dominated by the family.
Now, the bodies of four fire children on Jalan Kutilang, RW 02, Bukit Duri, South Jakarta are still being identified by the Kramat Jati Police Hospital (RS). Four victims, namely women with the initials PL (13), women K (3), men A (7) and women A (4). They are included in the affected victims, namely 10 families (KK) or 27 people.
Then, two mothers were injured with the initials A and M who along with four fatalities were taken to the Police Hospital. The cause of the fire in the area that was burned by 200 square meters (m2) was suspected to be due to a short circuit in the electricity with an estimated loss of around Rp. 674 million. Previously, the fire was reported to have occurred on Saturday morning at 06.21 WIB.
