Just Joined WAMI January 2025, Sal Priadi Received Royalties Of IDR 114 Million

JAKARTA - Sal Priadi is one of the songwriters who received royalties from Wahana Musik Indonesia (WAMI) who has just started distributing royalties for the second period for 2025.

In the official report of the Hwk Cipta Collective Management Institute (LMK), Sal's achievement was quite proud. Although he was only registered as a member last January, the singer of from another planet has received royalties of Rp. 114 million.

Adi Adrian as WAMI's President Director said Sal had allowed the amount of royalties to be announced to the public

"Sal Priadi just entered January 2025, but he got Rp114 million. This means that he allowed us to convey this," Adi said at a press conference in Pancoran, South Jakarta, Friday, July 18.

"So, this is proof. He just entered and immediately got Rp 114 million. We are very happy," added Adi.

In addition to Sal, WAMI announced, Melly Goeslaw was listed as one of the largest recipients of net royalties, with a total of IDR 262 million.

Other songwriters who also received large royalties include Eross Candra from Sheila On 7), Ade Nurulianto, Roby Satria from Geisha, Roza Candra, Tri Suaka, and Daniel Baskara Putra alias Indies.

Meanwhile, WAMI distributed royalties of Rp47 billion for the second period of 2025. This distribution includes royalties on payments and reporting on the use of works from January to April.

The distribution process is carried out based on royalty receipts for licenses and reports on the use of songs from users, not based on the date of use of the work alone. Therefore, not all work usage in the January period April will be paid immediately in this distribution, because it depends on the completeness and time of data receipt and payment from users.

The use of which data and royalty payments are received after this period will be distributed in the next distribution period.
