Responding To The Ministry Of Transportation's Statement, Management Affirms The Establishment Process Of Indonesia Airlines Is Not The Ispan Jempol Belaka

JAKARTA - Indonesia Airlines management has opened its voice regarding the statement by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation emphasized that PT Indonesia Airlines Holding has not been able to run flight services because the Standard Certificate it has is still unverified.

Responding to this, the Chief Executive Officer of Indonesia Airlines, Iskandar emphasized that his establishment as a national airline was not just a discourse. Indonesia Airlines officially announced significant progress in the form of obtaining four standard air transportation certificates from the applicable aviation authorities, both for domestic and international services.

"We emphasize that Indonesia Airlines is not a figment. Our establishment process is in accordance with the legal corridors and national aviation regulations. We deeply regret the baseless accusations of hoaxes' and can injure the investment spirit of the aviation sector in Indonesia," he said in a statement to VOI, Saturday, July 19.

Iskandar said Indonesia Airlines had obtained four certificates signed by the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) on behalf of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. These certificates include Domestic Scheduled Commercial Air Transport Certificates for Passengers or Passengers and Cargo, Foreign Scheduled NIaga Air Transport Certificates for Passengers or Passengers and Cargo, certificates for Non-Scheduled Foreign Commercial Air Transport for Passengers or Cargo and Other Unscheduled Commercial Air Transport Certificates.

"This achievement also answers and denies hoax accusations previously made by Ministry of Transportation officials regarding the plan to establish Indonesia Airlines," said Iskandar.

Iskandar added that the statement by the Director General of Civil Aviation which stated that Indonesia Airlines' plan was anging' has raised public doubts.

"In fact, the licensing process and technical preparation for Indonesia Airlines have been running in stages and transparently," he added.

Iskandar claims that he is currently only returning to Indonesia after conducting joint visits with teams in several countries in the context of finalizing communication with partners, lessors and aircraft manufacturers, as well as several major world airlines for strategic partnership potentials that include aircraft leasing/purchasing, pilot training centers and cabin crew, aircraft maintenance facilities and spare parts, stating that they are ready for direct dialogue with the Director General of Air Transportation.

"We open the door of communication as wide as possible with the authorities. It is time for the public to be treated with correct information, not prejudice," he continued.

Regarding the soft launching schedule, Iskandar said that currently his party is still waiting for the final discussion from the team with Booking Entertainment and a concert promoter in New York to finalize the schedule from Brand Ambassador.

"In the soft launching event, Brand Ambassador will be officially introduced to the public," he said.
