MSME Actors Asked To Develop Innovative Ideas By Utilizing Technology
JAKARTA - Taiwan continues to show its seriousness in encouraging innovation in the health sector and a healthy lifestyle in the Southeast Asia region.
This time, they collaborated with Indonesia through the launch of the Go Healthy with Taiwan 2025 campaign, a program that encourages cross-border collaboration in the field of health technology.
The program was initiated by Taiwan International Trade Administration (ITA) under Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, and its implementation was entrusted to Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
Indonesia was chosen as a strategic partner because of its great potential in developing technology-based solutions for the community.
Through this campaign, Indonesian people from various backgrounds, both institutions, companies, and MSME players, are invited to develop innovative ideas by utilizing health technology from Taiwan and being adapted to local needs.
The main focus of Go Healthy with Taiwan 2025 includes three sectors, namely fitness and sports technology, cycling as a healthy lifestyle, and smart health.
The innovations carried include AI-based smart sports equipment, digital training systems, Taiwan-made environmentally friendly bicycles, to telemedicine services and wearable devices such as health monitoring hours that have been used in international hospitals.
This campaign is not only informative, but also competitive.
Through the Survey Cake platform, the public is invited to submit an innovative idea proposal and has the opportunity to win a cash prize of US$30,000 for the three best proposals.
Six finalist teams will also receive special invitations to take the 'Go Healthy Tour' to Taiwan.
This tour provides an in-depth experience for the participants.
They will visit well-known health technology companies, witness product demonstrations, and build relationships with stakeholders of the Taiwanese health industry.
All of this is designed to open up wider collaboration opportunities, product integration, and market expansion.
Respons dari Indonesia luar biasa, ujar Amy Marijuk, Direktur TAITRA Jakarta.
"Through this campaign, we want to strengthen cross-border cooperation and bring health solutions from Taiwan that really have a positive impact on the Indonesian people," he added.
To support participants, TAITRA provides complete guidance, examples of proposals, as well as case studies such as wearable devices from Acer which have been used globally.
All of this information can be accessed on the official website: gohealthy.taiwanexcellence.org.
