Manchester United And Brentford Reach Deal For Bryan Mbeumo
JAKARTA - Manchester United will soon complete the transfer of Bryan Mbeumo after reaching an agreement of more than 70 million pounds with Brentford.
This Cameroon international is expected to be Ruben Amorim's second signing this summer after Matheus Cunha's move from Wolves.
ESPN reported that Manchester United wanted to immediately complete the transfer of Mbeumo after the protracted transfer saga.
There is hope that the 25-year-old can undergo the fastest medical tests this weekend and be part of the squad leaving for Chicago on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, to start a three-match tour in the United States.

The deal for Mbeumo, who scored 20 Premier League goals last season, was worth 65 million with additional potential to make the deal past 70 million.
Previously, Manchester United had raised their bid for Mbeumo on Thursday, July 16, 2025, with Brentford assessing their star striker above 62.5 million - for Cunha to move to Old Trafford.
Mbeumo was younger than Cunha and scored more goals in the Premier League for the 2024/2025 season.
If it is true that Mbeumo moved to Old Trafford, Brentford will certainly not release Yoane Wissa.
You see, Brentford is reluctant to lose both players in the same transfer market.
