JAKARTA Indonesia fielded 13 representatives at the China Open 2025, the last Super 1000 BWF level tournament in this year's calendar to be held next week.
The tournament is scheduled to take place on July 22-27, 2025 at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Center. The total prize provided is US$2 million or equivalent to Rp32.5 billion.
Indonesia lowered the composition of the same squad as the Japan Open 2025 this week, including Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung who had just made a comeback after health problems.
Ginting played his second tournament this year in Japan after a long absence from a prone bone injury and muscle inflammation on the shoulder after appearing at the Malaysia Open in January 2025.
