SEA V League 2025 Standings After Indonesia Beat Vietnam

JAKARTA Indonesia topped the second leg of the 2025 SEA V League after successfully locking down a landslide victory over Vietnam in the second match.

Indonesia was recorded to have won with a score of 3-1 (25-18, 22-25, 25-22, and 25-15) over Vietnam at the Jakarta International Velodrome, East Jakarta, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, evening WIB.

The battle between Indonesia and Vietnam has been tight since the first set. Rivan Nurmulki and his friends had a 1-0 lead after winning 25-18 in the first set.

Vietnam then rose in the second set to equalize to 1-1. The fight in this set also went so tough that Vietnam only had a narrow 25-22 lead.

Clashes in the third set also took place no less fiercely. Indonesia continues to be involved in chasing numbers before locking wins with the same score as the second set.

In the fourth set, the Garuda Squad played much more solid with many deadly attacks. Rivan and his friends finally closed the match with a wide distance of 25-15.

This victory makes Indonesia have collected a total of five points from two matches. Jeff Jiang Jie's squad was followed by Thailand in second place which has only secured three points from one match.

Indonesia's position will most likely be taken over by Thailand if they can win against Vietnam in the second match which will take place on Friday, July 18, 2025, WIB night.

Vietnam is currently in third place in the standings with three points from two matches. They were followed by the Philippines with one point and Cambodia in the last place with no points.

Indonesia will play their third match against Cambodia on Saturday, July 19, 2025, and against Thailand in the last match of Sunday, July 20, 2025.
