Kim Kardashian Appears Glamor Using Elizabeth Taylor's Antings For IDR 6.5 Billion
Kim Kardashian shared several behind-the-scenes moments of her appearance at the fall couture 2025 fashion show in Paris through her personal Instagram account.
In the upload, the 44-year-old reality show star looks luxurious in diamonds, including a pair of large charmleier earrings owned by the late legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor. The actress was loaned by well-known jewelry designer bilang Schwartz.
The injections worn by Kim at that time were estimated to be worth around 400 thousand US dollars or around Rp. 6.5 billion.
"DEMNA," Kim wrote in the caption of the photo upload, as a form of respect for the final show from Demna Gvasalia for Balenciaga, as reported by the Daily Mail page.
The injection was originally given to Elizabeth Taylor of her husband, Mike Todd in 1957, shortly before Mike died in March 1958.
For her appearance, Kim wore a cream-colored satin dress in a slip dress style, similar to the dress Taylor wore in the drama film Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958). The film earned Taylor an Oscar nomination for Best Actress thanks to his role asuranny 'The Cat', acting with Paul Newman and Burl Ives.
One of the photos uploaded by Kim showed a sketch of the concept of a custom-made fashion design for him, while another photo showed a training session walking on stage before the event began.

Just like Elizabeth Taylor used to, Kim also wore matching satin shoes. The appearance was also equipped with a white fur coat designed by Demna. However, the use of this original fur sparked criticism from some Kim fans.
"Are you wearing real fur again???" asked one of his followers.
In addition to the earrings, Kim also wore a large-cart diamond necklace, which also belonged to Elizabeth Taylor and was given by Taylor's husband at the time was Richard Burton.
In his book Elizabeth Taylor: My Love Affairs with Jewelry published in 2003, Taylor wrote, "I feel only as a guard for my jewelry. When I die and the jewelry is auctioned off, I hope the person who bought it can give him a good home,"

Previously, Kim had tried to buy part of the history of other modes, namely the late Jane Birkin's Hermès Birkin bag which was auctioned off.
