Almaira Hopes Indonesia Routinely Appears In International Events
JAKARTA table tennis athlete, Almaira Nebuchadnezzar, hopes that Indonesia Pingpong League (IPL) will regularly send players to international tournaments to increase player's flight hours.
Almaira will represent Onic club to appear at the Sitga ASEAN Table Tennis Club Championship 2025 which will take place at Thonburi University, Thailand, on July 18-20.
"I personally am very happy. So far, what we have been waiting for for international flying hours has finally come true. The hope is that this will continue," Almaira said in Jakarta on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
This is the first time Indonesia Pingpong League (IPL) has officially sent representatives to an international tournament after they were officially declared the parent organization of Indonesian table tennis.

Onic will be accompanied by PTM Sukun and Arowana Jaya to compete in the international event. The three of them are the best team from the Indonesia Pingpong League (IPL) Series 1 which will take place in May 2025.
Almaira said she was happy to have the opportunity from the Indonesia Pingpong League (IPL) to increase flying hours to athletes at the international level.
"Hopefully this will be a good start for me and other friends. Hopefully, hopefully it can be a benchmark and can improve our achievements," he said.
The 2025 ASEAN Tennis Club Championship Championship Tenable Tournament will be attended by leading clubs from Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, China Taipei, India, and Indonesia.
In addition to the open category, this tournament will compete in the U-13 group. In that category, Indonesia sent Onic and Gree One TTC.
