PDIP Is Not Worried About PSI's Voters Diet Despite Changing Party Logo

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Said Abdullah admitted that he was not worried that his party's election would shift to the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) which would change logos.

As the winner of the election three times in a row, Said emphasized that PDIP has its own niche.

"The PDIP voters, we have our own nation which has been around 55 times. And it is growing. If it's not worried," said Said at the DPR building, Thursday, July 17.

Rumors circulated that PSI would change the party's logo from 'mawar' to 'prosperous'. Related to that, Said was reluctant to comment much.

According to him, although the color of the new PSI logo is synonymous with red black like PDIP, his party has a distinctive identity as a party bearing the bull symbol.

"Yes, the Banteng logo already has its own brand, yes. I can't comment on the logo of another party," he said.

"I prefer to look after, raise, strengthen, develop my own party," said the chairman of the DPR Banggar.

Previously, PSI spokesman Ariyo Bimo opened his voice about the circulation of the PSI flag bearing the elephant logo in Solo, Central Java. Ariyo said the announcement of the PSI logo would only be made at the congress

"It will be officially announced at the time of the Congress," Ariyo told reporters, Tuesday, July 15.

Nevertheless, Ariyo confirmed that the flags were installed by PSI Solo cadres. However, Ariyo did not explain further about the flag.
