Chery Plans To Bring Tiggo Cross CSH To Indonesia
JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia in the last year has often given new breakthroughs, not only presenting the latest model but also bringing the latest technology, namely Chery Super Hybrid or known as CSH.
The model embedded with this technology is Tiggo 8 and is currently quite in demand, even the order reaches more than 2,000 units within a month. One interesting thing is that in neighboring countries, Malaysia, which officially launched the CSH version of the Tiggo Cross, is different from the version in Indonesia which offers only pure gasoline variants.
So will CSI plan to bring the model?
"If I'm not mistaken, they have launched the Tiggo Cross and that's one product that is loved by other countries, as an example last year there was already a media view in Australia and received various achievements," said PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) President Director Zeng Shuo, when met in the Bekasi area, West Java, Wednesday, July 16.
Furthermore, he said that Chery Malaysia had launched the model at a price if in Indonesia it was Rp380 million. Regarding presence in Indonesia, he did not deny there is a possibility.
"Kita Chery Indonesia juga berusaha bisa membawa produk tersebut (Tiggo Cross CSH) lebih cepat ke market Indonesia," tambahnya.

Meanwhile, the Tiggo Cross in Malaysia itself has been produced locally and comes in two variants ranging from the 1.5 Turbo engine which is priced at 88,800 ringgit or Rp340 million, as well as the CSH variant which touched the price of 99,800 ringgit or Rp381 million.
In terms of engines, Turbo is equipped with a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a turbocharged 1.5 liter engine that produces 147 PS power and 210 Nm torque, with a driving force that is channeled to the front wheels through a six-speed double coupling transmission. The machine allows acceleration of 0-100 km/hour in 10.3 seconds in Sport mode.
For the Hybrid variant, the powertrain (also FWD) is based on a 1.5 liter naturally assisted inline four gasoline engine which produces 102 PS power and 125 Nm torque. This machine is combined with Direct Hybrid Transmission (DHT) which has two electric motors integrated with 204 PS power and 310 Nm torque.
