The 2025 Superior Scholarship Opens, This Is A Community Group That Can't Register

YOGYAKARTA - The government has reopened the Superior Scholarship program for 2025. The registration starts on July 14 to 27. This program is a form of the government's commitment to improving the quality of human resources through providing tuition assistance.

This program opens up opportunities for the nation's best sons and daughters to pursue higher education both at home and abroad. This scholarship covers Diploma IV (D4), Bachelor (S1), Master (S2), and Doctoral (S3) levels, and can be followed by new students and active students.

However, it is important to know that not all community groups or students can register and take part in the 2025 Superior Scholarship selection. There are strict criteria and requirements that must be met by prospective registrants.

The Unggulan Scholarship is designed to provide full support for students. Therefore, students who are currently receiving similar scholarships (either from the government, private institutions, or other organizations) are not allowed to register for the 2025 Superior Scholarship. The goal is to ensure equal distribution of opportunities and so that educational assistance can reach more individuals in need.

The Superior Scholarship Program is intended for those who are just about to start or are currently studying at a certain level. Thus, individuals who have studied and completed education at the same level as those who want to be registered (for example, already have a bachelor's degree and want to register for another S1) do not meet the requirements.

The Unggulan Scholarship does support improving the quality of education. However, for lecturers, teachers, education staff, and cultural actors, the government has provided other special scholarship schemes that are adapted to their professions and development needs. Therefore, for this professional group, it is advisable to seek scholarship information that is relevant to their respective fields.

The Unggulan Scholarship is known as an achievement-based program, so that participants who do not have a track record of academic or non-academic achievements at the national or international level cannot take part in the selection. These achievements must be proven through certificates, certificates, or other valid official documents.

Participants who have not received an official admission letter (LoA) from universities, both domestically and abroad, also do not meet the requirements. Registrants are required to show that they have been accepted at the destination university with unconditional or without additional conditions.

For students who are undergoing a study (ongoing), they are required to attach an active lecture certificate from the college where they study. Without this document, the scholarship application will not be further processed.

The Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA) is an important indicator in the selection of Superior Scholarships, showing the academic performance of prospective registrants. The minimum GPA criteria that must be met are as follows:

Prospective registrants who do not reach the minimum GPA limit are automatically not eligible to register for the 2025 Featured Scholarship.
