Copenhagen Becomes The Most Habitable City In The World 2025, Here's The Complete List

JAKARTA - The Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) again provides an assessment of cities around the world. This assessment is a description based on related data where life is most habitable from comfort and security.

In previous years high-ranking cities were usually consistent every year. However, in 2025 there will be major changes, where Vienna, which already occupies the first memory, is shifted.

In 2025, the first-ranked most habitable city in the world is occupied by Copenhagen, which is the largest city as well as the capital of Denmark.

Copenhagen managed to get to the top thanks to the perfect score in stability, education, and infrastructure. In these three components Copenhagen achieved a perfect score that was difficult to match.

Not only topping the habitability index, Copenhagen has also recently been named the happiest city in the world. One of Copenhagen's advantages is scheduled transportation on time, cleanliness maintained, including in port areas.

Quoted from the BBC, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the other Copenhagen advantages are the spirit of the community and its relaxed atmosphere. Even though the weather is often cloudy, the city still feels alive with open markets, general toilets, and the voices of children who are busy playing in the park.

Meanwhile, in the list of the 10 most habitable cities in the world in 2025, cities from Indonesia are not included. There is only one city from Asia on the list, namely Osaka, in Japan.
