Japan Open 2025: Jafar/Felisha Add Mixed Double Tickets
JAKARTA - The Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha couple Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu managed to add one ticket to Indonesia's mixed doubles in the second round of the Japan Open 2025.
They extended their journey in the tournament after defeating Chinese representatives Guo Xin Wa/Chen Fang Hui, in a two-game 21-12 and 21-17 matches on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
"Today's performance is arguably quite good, it's also a small field, with a shuttlecock. We really don't want to lose again, want to win and want to go far," said Felisha.
This defeat became Jafar/Felisha's revenge. They previously lost against the pair when they met at the Singapore Open 2025 in May 2025.
"The game is no different from the time at the Singapore Open, the difference is the shuttlecock condition."

"If the speed of the ball is a bit slow here, so we want to play defensively first, we don't hesitate, it's better and more free to apply any strategy," said Jafar.
The results obtained by Jafar/Felisha made Indonesia's mixed doubles number have a perfect record in this Super 750 BWF level event.
In total, Indonesia has lowered three mixed doubles pairs in Japan, all of which have not lost.
Previously, on the first day, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, two tickets from the sector had already been secured by the Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja and Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.
