Gibran Reviews BSU Distribution In Tangerang, Make Sure There Are No Cuts

TANGERANG - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka directly observed the process of distributing Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) at the Tangerang Post Office, Banten, Wednesday, July 16. This visit was carried out to ensure that assistance was really received by workers without any problems and without deductions.

During his visit, Gibran was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer, Governor of Banten Andra Soni, and Mayor of Tangerang Sahrudin. They directly monitor the distribution flow, starting from the arrival of workers to the disbursement of aid.

"The vice president is here to ensure that the distribution process runs smoothly according to the rules and there are no cuts," said Wamenaker Immanuel Ebenezer after accompanying Gibran as quoted by Antara.

Not only reviewing the technical distribution, the Vice President also had a chance to talk with the recipients. He asked about the plan to use the assistance received, while at the same time hoping that this BSU program would really encourage people's purchasing power.

"The Vice President appreciated the service at PT Pos, because everything was made easier. Earlier he had a chance to chat with the residents as well, and he hoped that this BSU could help with their needs," said Immanuel.

The government through the Ministry of Manpower continues to improve the mechanism for the distribution of BSU to be faster, more efficient, and transparent. One of them is by presenting the Pospay digital system, especially for recipients who experience problems in the distribution of stages 1 and 2.

The process starts from checking the status of recipients through the official website of the Ministry of Manpower, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, or the Pospay application. After the status is confirmed, prospective recipients are asked to complete personal data according to their identity.

If the data is declared valid, the system will issue a QR Code (Digital Expos) which is official evidence to disburse BSU at the nearest Post Office.
