McGregor Shares Personal Messages To Dana White Who Signals Back To UFC

JAKARTA - Conor McGregor has indeed been a hot topic of conversation lately. Scandal with the US rapper, Azealia Banks, and a photo of him scattered kissing a mysterious woman became the trigger.

However, amid the controversy, McGregor is also busy talking about his return to the octagon.

The Irish fighter appears to have received the green light from UFC President Dana White to return to the much-anticipated octagon.

McGregor gave new clues about his possible return to the UFC, following Donald Trump's statement to host the UFC event at the White House.

On Thursday last week, the President of the United States expressed his desire to host the UFC event in 2026.

Trump made several important announcements at a rally in Iowa ahead of Independence Day, including plans to hold the 250th United States anniversary celebration this month.

Among the proposals, there was an UFC event at the White House.

"I even think we're going to have a UFC fight. Anyone watching the great UFC and Dana White?"

"We will have a UFC fight. Imagine this, in the courtyard of the White House. We have a lot of land there."

"We will build a little, Dana will do it, great, unique funds. We will hold UFC fights, championship fights, full fights, around 20,000-25,000 people," Trump said.

Supporters may have doubts, but McGregor fully agrees with the concept. The former UFC two-division champion used X to share his excitement about the potential UFC event at the White House, announced by President Trump.

"Happy Independence Day July 4, USA. Happy with President Trump's announcement about the UFC fight at the White House! I would be honored! I'm coming!" he wrote on X.

UFC president Dana White agreed. This was revealed after McGregor shared a conversation with White on social media.

McGregor shared the voicemail he sent to White about the event at the White House.

"I like it!" White replied to McGregor.

Ahead of his 37th birthday this month, McGregor has not fought again since his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021.

He was due for a counter-match against former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler last year but had to withdraw due to injuries he suffered during training.

McGregor's future career at the UFC is still uncertain. Known as Notorious, and with two fights left in his contract, he has hinted he will return in recent months, but no official plans have yet been announced.

The 36-year-old recently sent White a private message with his sons saying, "How are you, Uncle Dana?"

McGregor added, "My brother, we love you so much. Come on, Dana. Come on, Dana guys. McGregor just warmed up. Come on, Dana. Come on UFC. Come on, honey!"

McGregor shared the clip on Instagram Story with the caption '#loyalty', prompting White to re-upload the touching moment to his many followers on social media.

The fighter has improved his training routine in recent weeks. McGregor also expressed his excitement about the possibility of the UFC event at the White House.

There is a possibility that fans are enthusiastic about seeing McGregor enter the octagon for the last time. However, many supporters are tired and not interested.
