Telkomsel, TikTok, And GoPay Launch First Card For Creators And MSMEs

JAKARTA - Telkomsel together with TikTok and GoPay launched SIMPATI TikTok, the inaugural card for the special edition which is the first step in synergy for three leading companies in Indonesia.

By combining broadband network advantages, TikTok's live-commerce capabilities, as well as GoPay's inclusive financial services, this collaboration product is expected to accelerate the achievement of Indonesia Gold's 2045 vision.

"SIMPATI TikTok ensures that every creator and MSME actor can get a stable and reliable connection that can be a catalyst for the digital creativity of the Indonesian people," said Telkomsel President Director, Nugroho in his official statement quoted Wednesday, July 16.

As a first step, TikTok's SIMPATI comes in the form of a special edition inaugural card for IDR 55,000 with a 5GB internet quota, equipped with a superior network when accessing the TikTok application.

Meanwhile, the Director of Global Business Development for TikTok Asia Pacific, Vanessa Brown, also added that this collaboration is expected to strengthen the livestream economy in Indonesia.

"With TikTok's SIMPATI, we look forward to helping more creators and sellers to build presence, engage communities, and develop their business on the platform in a easier and more accessible way," concluded Vanessa.

President Director of GoTo Financial, Sudhanshu Raheja, also hopes that SIMPATI TikTok can provide superior access connections throughout Indonesia, especially for creators and MSME players, as well as facilitate access to digital financial services in the GoPay application for the wider community.
