Nikki Sixx Reveals The Reason M\"otley Cr\"ue Doesn't Appear At The Black Sabbath Separation Concert

JAKARTA - Black Sabbath completed its final show at Villa Park, Birmingham on July 5. However, the stories behind the stage are still interesting to discuss, one of which is the absence of M\"otley Cr\"ie in a row of guest performers.

As is known, Sabbath has a close connection with M\"otley Cr\"ie. Not only do you support heavy metal music, Nikki Sixx stated that her band has a debt of gratitude to Ozzy Osbourne.

In 1984, Ozzy, who left Sabbath and continued his career as a soloist, invited M\"otley Cr\"ie as the opening band for the Shout at the Devil tour.

"Ozzy and Sharon gave us our first big tour in 1984, to be precise on the Shout at the Devil tour," wrote Nikki Sixx, citing an upload caption, Tuesday, July 15.

They gave us the opportunity to play in front of Ozzy and in my opinion, instead made the band disbanded. Congratulations on your extraordinary career and extraordinary separation, "continued Nikki.

However, regarding his absence from the Sabbath farewell concert, the M\"otley Cr\"ue bassist said the band's conditions at that time did not allow him to appear.

"We are experiencing health problems in the band," Sixx said without naming the person in question.

Not only for Sabbath, but M\"otley Cr\"ie also postponed a residence in Las Vegas earlier this year, as Vince Neil needed time off to recover from medical procedures. In addition, concerts at the Boardwalk Rock festival were also canceled for the same reason.

Meanwhile, the delay in the identification follows a fatal accident involving Neil's private jet. The frontman was not on the plane during the crash, but his girlfriend, Rain Andreani, and his friend were injured, although it was thought he was not life-threatening," he said.

The two of them were also taken to the hospital along with the plane's co-pilot who was also injured. Meanwhile, the pilot of the plane died in the crash.

In addition, Sixx also shared his current health condition, where he is very serious about maintaining health and routinely undergoing blood tests.

"I worked HARD AND I'm not interested in dying because of work and STRESS," he said. "I checked my blood twice a year and we focused on always improving health, my goal."

Furthermore, Sixx stated that he did not want to appear on stage which was considered not as happy as when he was with his family.

"I have an amazing wife, five golden children, and a beautiful grandson. Do you think some of my past pleasure is worth destroying the beautiful life I have built? Never. This is the time. Try harder or die slowly," said Sixx.

"We're all dead, some just give up faster... I'm planning to get to 100 years old. That will make critics angry. Have a good weekend," he said.
