Perumnas Prepares 2,000 Hectares Of Land For The 3 Million House Program
Perum Perumnas is ready to allocate 2,000 hectares (ha) of land ownership for housing development in order to achieve the 3 Million Houses Program.
Acting (Plt) President Director of Perumnas Tambok Parulian Setyawati Simanjuntak said, at least 161,000 housing units could be built on the 2,000 ha area of land.
"The total area of land that we have is clean and clear and ready to support the government's program is around 2,000 hectares, with our calculation based on the feasibility study (FS), our land can be built around 161,000 units," said Tambok at the Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission VI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 15.
Tambok explained that in the future Perum Perumnas will develop areas and housing in a number of areas that have a high occupancy or backlog inequality, such as West Java, Jakarta, North Sumatra, East Java to Central Java.
In detail, his party will run a large-scale housing area development program on an area of 1,654 hectares to supply around 80,300 housing units. This program will be implemented in West Java, North Sumatra, East Java, South Sumatra, Banten and South Sulawesi.
Then, his party will also run a transit-oriented development (tod) residential program on an area of 62 ha with a total estimated at 10,700 units in the DKI Jakarta and Bogor areas.

Next, Perum Perumnas will also carry out the construction of an urban vertical residential program in DKI Jakarta which will be built on an area of 9 ha to supply 12,100 units.
Then, the 37 ha vertical slum area structuring program for 37,600 units in the South Sumatra and DKI Jakarta areas.
Finally, Perum Perumnas will also run a small-scale land housing development program on an area of 238 ha for 20,300 units that will be run in various regions.
Starting from West Java, North Sumatra, East Java, Central Java, Lampung, Bali, NTB, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi and North Sulawesi.
"In addition to our support in the 3 million house program, of course we also have to focus on a decent house for MBR. So a decent house means, so they have good quality of life," he concluded.
