Perumnas Earns IDR 12 Billion Profit In 2024 But Still Has A Debt Of 4.7 Trillion

JAKARTA - Perum Perumnas reports that it still has debts worth IDR 4.7 trillion throughout 2024. Even so, this achievement shows an improvement in performance because the amount of debt has decreased.

Acting (Plt) President Director of Perumnas Tambok Parulian Setyawati Simanjuntak said that his party had recorded that financial performance continued to improve. According to him, positive growth has occurred since the last three years.

Tambok detailed that Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) revenue rose 5.6 percent to Rp1.23 trillion. Likewise, financial expenses and interest debt were recorded to have decreased by CAGR by 2 percent to Rp4.7 trillion from Rp4.8 trillion.

"So, our total loan of IDR 5.1 trillion in 2022, 2024 has dropped to IDR 4.7 trillion, so the obligation to pay interest has also decreased from IDR 378 billion in 2022, (in) 2024 to IDR 356 billion," said Tambok in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission VI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 15.

In terms of profit, Perumnas managed to record IDR 12 billion throughout 2024. In CAGR, profit rose 130.2 percent from the loss recorded by Perumnas in 2022, which was IDR 430 billion.

"It's still a struggle for the next, but at least there has been positive growth after the COVID-19 period which hit us enough at Perumnas," he said.

He added that the total number of units built by Perumnas also increased by CAGR by 14.7 percent. He detailed, for flats as many as 2,430 units, while for flat landed houses as many as 3,986 units.
