Chery Secures Position 6 Of The Top 10 Best Selling Car Brands In Indonesia
JAKARTA - After returning to Indonesia with a myriad of the latest technologies, Chery slowly began to show off at the national automotive market.
The proof is that Chery achieved positive sales of 2,271 units throughout June 2025. This impressive performance then led Chery to secure position 6 of the top 10 best-selling car brands in Indonesia, as well as closing wholesales in the first semester of 2025 of 10,283 units.
The presence of the latest models such as Tiggo 8 CSH, Tiggo Cross to J6 is able to boost sales of this brand from China in Indonesia. The high market acceptance of various premium Chery SUVs is clear evidence of the increasing trust of the Indonesian people in the quality, innovation, and value offered by the company.
Head of Brand & Marketing Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan, said he was very grateful to be able to close June with positive achievements, where sales managed to reach more than 2,000 units. In fact, it increased by 167 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
"The contribution of the Chery Family to this achievement is also very large, as can be seen from the success of Tiggo 8 CSH as The Best Selling PHEV Model in Indonesia today. Hopefully this good momentum can continue, and this year's automotive market can be better than the previous year," he said, in an official statement received, Tuesday, July 15.

In terms of volume and model contributions, WS Chery sales during June 2025 were dominated by three mainstay models. Chery Tiggo 8 CSH appeared as the prima donna with a sales contribution of 1,102 units.
Followed by the first EV offroad in Indonesia, Chery J6 which recorded sales figures of 442 units, and the phenomenal Crossover SUV Chery TIGGO Cross with 382 units.
