24 Prospective Indonesian Ambassadors Just Waiting For The Inauguration Process, Puan: DPR Has Written Again To The President
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, said that her party had sent a letter regarding the results of the fit and proper test or the fit and proper test of the candidate for 24 ambassadors (dubes) of the Republic of Indonesia. Currently, said Puan, the DPR is just waiting for the process of inauguration of the candidate for the Indonesian Ambassador to friendly countries as a follow-up to the government.
"The process of fit and proper ambassador has been completed at Commission I, and the DPR has written back to the government or to the president," said Puan at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 15.
"And of course the next mechanism is in the government, and it will wait for the inauguration process," he continued.
Puan said the DPR had carried out a fit and proper test according to the applicable mechanism, and proposed names worthy of being Indonesian ambassadors.
"So, now the ball is in the executive or in the government," said Puan.
