Emily In Paris Series Moves Filming Locations, Now In Venice

JAKARTA - The title may be Emily in Paris, but the shooting location may not be in France. Netflix's hit series is confirmed to continue its fifth season in Venice, Italy.

The Governor of Italy, Luca Zaia, shared this news and even revealed the filming date from August 5 to 15.

"This is great news, confirming that our area is very attractive to global audiovisual production," Luca Zaia said.

He also explained that director Andrew Kato studied the location in Italy with 360 Degrees Film and Veneto Film Commission to choose a place in Venice.

"This is the pride of Venetia's talents to promote and connect Venice and Veneto to millions of homes around the world," he said.

The Emily in Paris series is entering its fifth season to continue Emily's story (Lily Collins) entering a new apartment in Rome to take care of the Italian branch of Grateau agency. He is also dating Marcello, an heir to a cash company.

The fifth season of filming has been done since May in Rome and returned to Paris in June.

Created by Darren Star, the series is considered to be one of the titles that evoke France as the next tourist destination.

The Emily in Paris series tells the story of Emily's adventures of moving from America to France and experiencing conflicts in her career and romance.
