Arrest 3 Perpetrators Of The Fredy Pratama Network In Kalesl, Banjarbaru Police Securs 12 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine

The Banjarbaru Police in South Kalimantan (Kalsel) is investigating the results of the disclosure of the circulation of 12 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (kg) suspected of being included in the drug kingpin network Fredy Pratama when holding the results of the 2025 Antik Intan Operations series.

Banjarbaru Police Chief AKBP Pius X Febry Aceng Loda said the three perpetrators who had been arrested were undergoing intensive examination at the Narcotics Unit.

"We examined the three perpetrators R (34), S (40) and RM (23) in separate rooms to explore where the sources of illicit goods they got for the disclosure of the network above them," explained the Banjarbaru Police Chief in Banjarbaru, Monday, July 14, as reported by Antara.

The police chief again said that for chronology, the case began with the arrest of two suspects with the initials R and S on July 3, 2025 in the early hours of the morning in Pasar Kamis Village, Kertak Hanar District, Banjar Regency.

From the hands of the two officers confiscated 42.56 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Based on the results of the examination, perpetrator R admitted that he obtained methamphetamine from a man with the initials MR who was later arrested in Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency, with 99.08 grams of methamphetamine evidence, "explained the Police Chief during a press conference held at the Joglo Hall of the Banjarbaru Police, Monday.

Pius also explained that during a search of MR's house, officers again obtained evidence of methamphetamine, so that the total evidence that was secured from the hands of the three perpetrators reached 12.01 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.

"All suspects have now been detained at the Banjarbaru Police Headquarters for further investigation and legal proceedings," said the Police Chief.

AKBP Pius said the total amount of methamphetamine seized was estimated at IDR 7.8 billion and the Resort Police managed to save more than 149,000 people from drug abuse.

Not only that, said the Police Chief, the perpetrators had been named suspects and were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) and Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of a minimum sentence of 6 years in prison to the death penalty.

Previously, said the Police Chief, apart from the results of the disclosure of the Fredy Pratama network, the Banjarbaru Police's 2025 Anti Narcotics Operation (Antik) revealed around 23 cases of drugs and their ranks, with 26 suspects being arrested, in the period 17'30 June 2025.

"So a total of 23 cases of drug abuse, 26 suspects were arrested with evidence of 189.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 69 pills of ecstasy," he said.

In addition, he explained, with the results of the disclosure, the details were from the Banjarbaru Police Narcotics Unit revealing 13 cases, with 16 suspects, and 167.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine as evidence of 61 ecstasy pills.

Meanwhile, for the North Banjarbaru Police two cases, two suspects, with evidence of 10.18 grams of crystal methamphetamine, three cases of Cempaka Police, three suspects, 6.65 grams of crystal methamphetamine, three cases of Liang Anggang Police, three suspects, 12.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine eight pills of ecstasy.

Furthermore, the Aluh-Aluh Police have one case, one suspect, 1.04 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and the Lucky Baru Police, one suspect, with evidence of 1.11 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
