Looking For Fugitives Who Know About Scoring Other Than Perses-Perses Match

JAKARTA - The police are hunting for a fugitive in the case of fixing the score of the Bekasi Regency Persuasion against Perses Sumedang. This fugitive is a member of the West Java Exco PSSI.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said that the fugitive who was being chased needed information to prove this scoring practice had been going on several times.

"This DPO is one of the keys (to prove the allegations). Because they are members of the West Java Exco PSSI," said Yusri, Jakarta, Friday, November 29.

Meanwhile, when asked about the alleged involvement of the player in this score fixing, Yusri chose to answer briefly. "We are still exploring everything," said Yusri.

The Antimafia Bola Task Force revealed that there was a bribe worth IDR 12 million in this case. The police conducted an investigation into similar allegations that could have targeted other teams. Including, the perpetrators who were also involved in the case.

"It is still investigating the exact number of times (setting scores or bribes)," said Head of the Antimafia Ball Task Force, Brigadier General Hendro Pandowo.

Previously it was reported, the Football Antimafia Task Force named six people as suspects in the match-fixing case of the League 3 soccer match between Persikasi Bekasi vs Perses Sumedang.

They are, DSP, BTR, HR, MR, SHB, and DS, who are the club manager, referee, and PSSI West Java.

In disclosing the case, Persikasi management bribed a number of parties to win the match and move up to League 2.

Rp. 12 million in cash, ATM cards and savings books were used as evidence in disclosing scoring arrangements.

Persikasi team match against Perses Sumedang took place at Ahmad Yani Stadium, Sumedang West Java, in the Super Jalapa League 3 Series 1. The match was won by Persikasi Bekasi with a position of 3-2.
