"Two 2,938 personnel were involved, the Indonesian National Police joined," said Inspector General Karyoto to reporters.
This operation aims to increase public awareness in traffic, as well as create an orderly and safe traffic situation. Inspector General Karyoto emphasized that the operational targets cover all drivers, both two-wheeled, four-wheeled, and large-class vehicles.
He also appealed to personnel in the field to remain humane, but remain firm in taking action against traffic violations.
"Violators must still be dealt with according to applicable laws and procedures, without any transactions and negotiations," he said.

People who use private vehicles are also asked to always comply with traffic rules. This includes the completeness of vehicle documents, the use of helmets or seat belts, ensuring that vehicles comply with standards, and not forcing themselves to drive in unhealthy physical conditions.
"Hopefully the community will be reprimanded by this obedient operation and reminded to always be careful. That is the ultimate goal and of course all of this is for the community," said Inspector General Karyoto.
