The Launch Of The People's School Begins In Bogor, 100 Locations Ready To Operate This Year

BOGOR - The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) officially operates 62 public schools throughout Indonesia starting today and the remaining 37 schools will open at the end of the month. The launch of public schools is centered at the Cibinong Integrated Integrated Soewono (STIS) Center, Bogor Regency, West Java, Monday 14 July.

The launch will be marked by the opening of the school environment introduction period (MPLS) at the First Junior High School 10 Bogor Regency at STIS Cibinong by the Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf or Gus Ipul.

Quoted by ANTARA at STIS Cibinong, it appears that a number of students have arrived to attend MPLS. A total of 100 students are registered at the First Junior High School 10 in Bogor Regency.

They are divided into four study groups with a capacity of 25 students per class. Education facilities are also fully prepared from classrooms, dormitories, IPA laboratories, mosques, futsal fields, to libraries.

It is known that a number of ministers are scheduled to attend, namely Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo, Minister of PAN-RB Rini Widyantini, to Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

Presiden Prabowo Subianto menargetkan pada tahap pertama, sebanyak 100 sekolah rakyat bisa beroperasi saat masuk tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Hari ini dimulai pembukaan MPLS sekolah rakyat di 62 lokasi di seluruh Indonesia. Sedangkan 37 sekolah rakyat lainnya akan mulai proses pembelajaran pada akhir Juli 2025.

The People's School was President Prabowo Subianto's idea as a solution to open access to quality education for children from extreme poor and poor families.

This program targets families with decile 1 and 2 integrated data on national extreme social welfare (DTSEN). The concept of boarding school and free education costs is applied at all levels, from elementary, junior high, to high school/equivalent.
