There Are Fans Trying To Enter The Oasis Concert In Manchester Without Tickets, The Police Immediately Take Action

JAKARTA - Oasis' show in the city of Manchester, England leaves an incident that must involve the police. A number of fans were arrested for trying to jump over the fence to enter the concert area at Heaton Park.

As is known, Oasis has completed two of the five shows at Manchester on July 11 and 12 last weekend as part of the 'Oasis Live 25 Tour' reunion tour which was their first concert there in 16 years.

The show on the first day that tickets sold out was attended by 80,000 people. But fans who don't have tickets, choose to enjoy shows around Heaton Park, some of whom try to climb the garden wall to enter.

According to Manchester Evening News, about 50 fans tried to storm one of the entrances to the concert area, some of which managed to enter, but others were arrested and escorted away.

A man was seen handcuffed and taken out by a police officer, while another officer was seen carrying a ladder after fans tried to climb the outer fence.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that six people have been arrested for various offenses, including fraud, the intention of selling marijuana, as well as drunken and disordered behavior.

Not only that, a number of drones were also seized after a one and a half-mile no-fly zone around the concert site was set.

Previously, promoters and local authorities had warned fans not to try to enter Heaton Park during the show, as well as informing that there would be a double fence around the concert area guarded by security patrols.

The warning came after a number of TikTok videos circulated providing guidance to those who do not have tickets on how to enter the concert.

Meanwhile, three other shows in Manchester will be held on July 16.19 and 20, then Oasis will visit London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

After traveling around Great Britain, the Gallagher brothers will visit other cities, namely Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Pasadena, Mexico City, Goyang, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Srypto Paulo.
