Oxford United Vs Port FC Lineup In 2025 President's Cup Final: No Ole And Marselino
JAKARTA - Oxford United will face Port FC in the 2025 presidential Cup final which will be held at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Sunday, July 13.
This match is certain to take place without the presence of two Indonesian national team players who defend Oxford, namely Ole Romeny and Marselino Ferdinand.
Ole Romeny was forced to miss out after suffering an injury during the match against Arema FC. The Yellow's flagship winger even had to be sent home early to England for treatment. Meanwhile, Marselino Ferdinand suffered an injury against the All Star Indonesian League team and has not fully recovered. He was also not on the cast list when Oxford faced Arema FC.
From the Port FC camp, the name Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar is still on the list of players, but appears from the bench. The Indonesian national team defender was prepared as a substitute.
Although there is no starter from the Indonesian national team, this final match is expected to continue fiercely. Both teams fielded their best line-up in the race for the title.
Oxford still relies on Mark Harris on the front lines. Placeta's Przemyslaw, who became the motor of attack, also came down from the first minute to set the tempo of the game.
Meanwhile, Port FC appeared at full strength, including Irfan Fandi, the Singapore national team striker, and the duo of Thailand's national team midfielder, Bordin Phala and Tanaboon Kesarat.
