From Belgium, President Prabowo Leads A Meeting To Discuss Extreme Weather And People's Schools

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with seven coordinating ministers of the Red and White Cabinet via video conference from Belgium, Saturday, July 12 local time.

The meeting discussed the government's preparedness in dealing with extreme weather, law enforcement and preparations ahead of the launch of the people's school program.

Currently, Prabowo is in Belgium to fulfill an invitation from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Ant Totalio Costa, and Belgian King Philippe Leopold Louis Marie.

"President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with seven coordinating ministers of the Red and White Cabinet and Minister of State Secretary Mr. Prasetyo Hadi, which was held via video conference, on Saturday 12 July 2025," said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement received, Sunday 13 July.

Furthermore, Seskab Teddy conveyed that this limited meeting was held to discuss various matters related to the coordination sector of each coordinating minister.

"Among other things, the government's commitment to law enforcement in Indonesia, the development of people's school programs, and the advancement of the Red and White Cooperative initiative," he continued.

Seskab Teddy said that the president also highlighted preparedness in dealing with extreme weather that occurred in a number of areas in the country.

"In addition, the president also discussed preparedness in dealing with extreme weather that occurred in the provinces of Jakarta, West Java, Banten, and other provinces, as well as various other strategic agendas," he added.

Secretary Teddy said, after undergoing a state agenda in Belgium, President Prabowo is scheduled to continue his overseas visit to France in order to fulfill President Emmanuel Macron's official invitation to attend Bastille Day.
