Scheduled For July 14, 2025, The Launch Of The People's School In Samarinda Has A Delayed

The launch of the People's School startup program in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan, which is scheduled for July 14, 2025, has the opportunity to experience a delay.

According to Samarinda Mayor Andi Harun in Samarinda, Saturday, delaying launch activities is not substantial and is only technical.

"The matter of postponement is only a technical matter. Because in principle the Samarinda City Government is very ready to carry out People's School activities," Andi Harun said as quoted by ANTARA.

Based on the information, the reason for the delay is because the basic facilities in the two implementation locations are not yet ready, which are under the authority of the East Kalimantan Provincial Education Quality Guarantee Center (BPMP) and the East Kalimantan Provincial BPVP Vocational and Productivity Training Center.

Andi Harun emphasized that in principle the Samarinda City Government is ready to carry out the national program, this is evidenced by the signing of cooperation between the Samarinda City Government and the Central Government.

"I have sent the Head of the Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) of Samarinda City, Asli Nuryudin, to attend the signing of a collaboration in Jakarta on Thursday, July 10," he explained.

Andi Harun explained that the readiness of the People's School in the City of Banking has covered the preparation of students who will take part in the program.

"If it is not postponed, we are ready, because with the facilities owned by the city government, we could temporarily divert them while waiting for the full readiness of the two locations that have been determined," he explained.

Andi Harun emphasized that if necessary, the Samarinda City Government is ready to work together and help in completing supporting facilities for the implementation of the People's School.

"The city government is also ready to help. But this does not reduce our enthusiasm to make the President's program a success in the People's School," he said.
