Madueke Leaves Chelsea Training Camp Ahead Of Club World Cup Final
JAKARTA - Noni Madueke has left Chelsea's training camp ahead of the 2025 Club World Cup final.
The departure could not be separated from the planned transfer of 50 million euros to Arsenal. Maudeke is scheduled to undergo a medical test on Saturday, July 12, 2025, before completing his move to the north London club.
The 23-year-old has been involved with Chelsea at the 2025 Club World Cup and started twice on their way to the final.
He remained on the bench when Chelsea won in the semifinals over Fluminense on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, early morning WIB.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca confirmed the potential move in a press conference on Friday, July 11, 2025, evening local time.

He said the club agreed to the transfer after it was clear that Madueke wanted to move to Emirates.
"I've always said that if players want to leave, in the end it will be difficult for clubs and managers.
"Noni decided to leave. Nobody said she had to leave. Noni decided to leave. So, if she is happy, we are also happy," said Maresca.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is an old admirer of the England international player. Arsenal had considered signing him last summer.
Although Madueke's best position is on the right wing, where Bukayo Saka plays, Arteta believes he can develop him into a great left winger.
Madueke, who joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in 2023 for a 35 million euros transfer, made 46 appearances for Chelsea for the 2024/2025 season.
He scored 11 goals and five assists in all competitions. In addition, he started the Blues' win over Real Betis in the 2024/2025 UEFA Conference League final.
He will be Arsenal's second signing from Chelsea this summer, following the arrival of Kepa goalkeeper Arrizabalaga.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will face Paris Saint-Germain in the 2025 Club World Cup final on Monday, July 14, 2025, early morning WIB.
It is not clear whether Madueke will return to the United States to defend the Blues in the match or not.
