US Senator Warns NVIDIA CEO Of His Visit To China
JAKARTA Two United States (US) senators sent warning letters to NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, ahead of his trip to China. In the letter, senators limited Huang's meeting access.
The NVIDIA leader is prohibited from meeting with companies suspected of damaging US chipset export controls. This letter was written by Republican Senator Jim Banks and Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren.
It was not explained what the two senators meant. However, these banned companies are suspected of collaborating with the military or intelligence agency of the People's Republic of China (RRC).
The two senators also barred Huang from meeting entities on the US limited export list. In the letter, it was emphasized that Huang's wrong actions could harm the US.
